Applications for Scholarships Deadline: April 17, 2024

A number of EMS scholarships for congress participation at an EMC, EMS extension or other selected meetings are annually available via a fast track system for early stage career researchers under the age of 35 or a case-by-case system for all other applicants. The age limit of 35 years does not apply if the applicant had a career break, which will be taken into consideration. Application deadline is the same deadline as the ORIGINAL abstract submission deadline, unless otherwise specified. Each applicant must be registered at the meeting and present at least one abstract (poster or oral). Copy of abstract(s), registration details and proof of student or early stage researcher when applicable have to be added to the application. The application including a short CV (max. 1 A4) should be sent to the EMS Secretary. In case of large numbers of eligible applications, priority can be given to, e.g., PhD students, students not having received an EMS scholarship before, etc. Meetings not a priori selected by the EMS Executive Board are under normal circumstances not considered, but exceptions can be made upon special request of an individual researcher.
