We are seeking outstanding candidates for QuantAlps Postdoctoral Researcher positions to develop an ambitious 2-year research programme on one of the topics relevant to QuantAlps (https://quantalps.univgrenoble-alpes.fr/research/), based in one of the QuantAlps laboratories (https://quantalps.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/about-quantalps/laboratories/), and in collaboration with local researchers.
The candidates must have a Doctoral degree and at least 1 year of postdoctoral experience on the call deadline. The starting date can be any time between April 1st, 2027 and December 31st, 2027. Successful candidates will be employed by the Université Grenoble Alpes for 2 years with a monthly gross salary starting from 3020 Euros, depending on the work experience. The position has an accompanying research budget of 10 kEuros for operating costs and to support the successful candidates’ research activities.
The selection will be based on the following criteria:
- scientific excellence of the candidate,
- quality of the research proposal,
- relevance to QuantAlps research topics,
- new skills and competences brought by the candidate to the QuantAlps ecosystem,
- contribution to synergy between different laboratories or teams within QuantAlps ecosystem.
After a preliminary screening by the selection committee, the selected applications will be sent to external referees. Based on the referee reports, several candidates will be selected for an interview (to be announced in early November 2026 for an interview the first week of December). The final decision will be made shortly after the interviews in mid-December 2026. Successful candidates will have until January the 4th, 2027 to accept the offer.
