The tenth Biophotonics and Imaging (BIGSS 2026) Summer School will be held in Kylemore Abbey, Galway, Ireland this year, from the 3rd to the 7th of August. This a five ECTS accredited course with leading professors teaching to give a substantial grounding in the main topics of Biophotonics. BIGSS 2026 will include five days of lectures by world leaders in Biophotonics and Imaging, as well as highly interactive poster sessions.
We are delighted to extend the closing date for applications to June 30th in recognition of the recent announcement by the European Microscopy Society that they are sponsoring BIGSS 2026.
